Updating 1960 s kitchen

In just four months, Ryan Brown and Diego Monchamp of Brown Design Group transformed a dated 1960s midcentury home in Hollywood Hills into a sleek gathering space.

That required reimagining the cramped layout to create spaces that flow easily from one to the next.

"We love the graceful engineering that the era's style of furniture encompasses.""One of our dear friends is an art dealer, and he advised us on most of the art in our house.

He has told us to find things we love that also have significance to them," says Brown.
